Orlando Event Photographer – Yelp Orlando Elite Event – Barre3 Winter Park

I really enjoyed photographing a Yelp event recently which surprisingly had a main focus on fitness and a secondary spotlight on food. That is pretty new for Elite Events and everyone really enjoyed it! Barre3 Winter Park is a unique fitness studio that really makes you feel like you are a super-fit ballerina in a way, which I am sure is part of its popularity. “Barre3 evolves the dancer’s workout by combining the grace of the ballet barre with the wisdom of yoga and the strength of Pilates. Barre3 classes are set to an upbeat soundtrack and follow a vigorous pace moving through a sequence of postures designed to shape and lift the entire body.” All of the Yelpers loved the class and I would say many of the attendees wanted to go back for another Barre3 class in the future. Also at the event that night: Skyebird Organic. They served all natural snacks, salads and fruit juices. And let’s not forget the amazing spicy kale chips. They were my favorite! Check them out at Orlando’s new East End Market in a few months!

one magical evening at cafe trastevere (yelp elite orlando event)

I had an opportunity to finally visit a place I’ve never been to before, despite the fact that I’ve driven by a hundred times. The place is Cafe Trastevere – an Italian restaurant full of the most delicious food, classic charm, and romantic lights. Those lights are the very familiar ones I have noticed for years. Last night at Yelp Orlando’s latest Elite Event, I was able to photograph the coolest Yelpers on the scene, and capture the unique mood of this restaurant. My husband and I are definitely going to go to Cafe Trastevere “vere” soon.

2011 fight for air climb orlando ~ event photographer

I was able to take part in a very important and extremely inspiring event this morning. The American Lung Association held its 2011 Fight For Air Climb in downtown Orlando. Teams from around the area donated such a tremendous amount of money, and they also climbed 25 flights of stairs in record time. Also firefighters from around the Central Florida area participated in the Firefighter Challenge. Teams of firefighters competed for the title of the fastest fire department. Firefighters climbed in full gear (mask, boots, tank, etc.). That was really special to see. And there were so many amazing people I met today – that was even more special. I’ll remember the smiling faces and determination everyone showed as they climbed up the Bank of America building, in honor or in memory of loved ones.
