As a wedding photographer here in Orlando, I do visit the same ceremony venues more than once. However, I look at the events of each wedding day with a new pair of curious and creative eyes. I’m always chasing new angles, compelling scenes and natural light. And at the same time, I seek unique details, interesting surprises and just plain happy. When I met Jack and Tina, I knew right away that photographing their wedding at Leu Gardens would be very special and full of happy. That morning proved to be exactly that and more. While a small and intimate wedding, the feeling of love was big and bold. These two are crazy for each other and it showed in how relaxed and poised they were in front of the camera. And from Tina’s beautiful fascinator to the beautiful bracelet and earrings, the details were unique as they are. Jack even had a special engagement ring for himself which you’ll see in the pictures below! Jack and Tina, I wish you the most sparkling and shining life full of love and adventure.
Deena is so very special to me. I have known her sister Nathalie for over ten years and I feel like they are family. When I was asked to be the photographer for her big day, I was beyond honored and could not wait for the wedding. I am nearly crying as I type this right now. (Somebody, I need a hug!) Their wedding was on September 1st at Cypress Grove Estate House near Downtown Orlando. On that day, it felt like we were celebrating not only their love, but the end of an amazing summer. It was just the perfect time. Their wedding day was a wonderful way to begin a new month and open the pages of their fairytale. We did encounter a rainy Florida afternoon but it seemed to make the mood more magical and serene. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, I’m so overjoyed for you both and wish you boocoodles of happy!

Mary and Melody are not only mother and daughter, they’re best friends who went on an amazing vacation here in Orlando. We took advantage of the beautiful grounds at their hotel, Waldorf Astoria of Orlando, and even took some fun shots in the hotel room. What wonderful memories these two will have when they are back in London to show their family and friends. Their shoot was extremely fun, very colorful and vibrant, and most of all: full of Walt Disney World Magic! I also have to give major kudos to Mary because she handled many outfit changes for herself and her daughter. Not to mention acting as her daughter’s personal assistant and stylist. It was a very busy few hours and the results were completely worth the preparation!
While my main focus is always wedding photography here in the Orlando area, I love being able to do things outside of the norm to keep me on my toes! One of those chances came up when I received a request to photograph an insurance company in Lake Mary which works with pilots and aircraft. These ladies and gentlemen were such a great group to collaborate with and they all took some quite striking headshots. I also took some photos of model planes and awards around their offices. While editing those, some of the photos really looked great with monotone coloring which gave me a few ideas on some new branding styles for them which I hope they like. In the past I did a lot of graphic design work so when I have an opportunity to create an interesting visual statement using photos and text, I am a happy artist.
