Kim and David are such a sweet couple who became husband and wife at Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park on October 1st, 2013. I was honored to be their wedding photographer here in Orlando. We were emailing with each other since early spring and before I knew it, it was October and time for their big day! Their lakeside ceremony was officiated by the always wonderful Reverend Glynn Ferguson of Sensational Ceremonies. He has such a natural connection with people and the ceremony was very beautiful and touching. (I’m a big fan of the group at Sensational Ceremonies, since they did my own wedding ceremony in 2009!)
All of the flowers, decorations and even ring pillow were designed and handmade by Kim herself. That was even more impressive considering they were here on a vacation from England. I loved the blue feathers in the boutonnieres and bouquets! Speaking of blue, their choice of such a royal and bold blue was perfectly coordinated among them all. The color really stood out at Kraft Azalea and looked gorgeous. Kim looked radiant in her dress, and it was a complete surprise to David that she even had a dress. Yes, they somehow managed to hide a wedding dress in their luggage during their entire trip! Kim’s daughter Samantha was so beautiful as well and I especially loved the lace cap sleeves on her dress. Samantha’s son Taylor was an adorable ring bearer and did his job just perfectly. Lastly, David’s mother Marion was a joy to talk to and I learned about their town which is always interesting for me. I can’t wait to travel back to the UK one day and love to hear any stories in the meantime.
Congratulations to you both and I am wishing you all the best! I hope to see you on a future vacation to Florida.
