What could be sweeter than the first Christmas with your new little one? Tiny sugar snowflakes on cupcakes don’t even make the cut! This family has a little bundle of joy this Christmas, still little I think, even though he is already seven months old. Savoring these moments with photos is always an amazing idea.
Shannon and Tom have to be one of the most adorable couples I have ever met. Their chemistry is through the roof! They needed photos for the holidays and I captured “winter” memories for them, Florida style, in the best ways I know how. From the Christmas lights to adding snow later in post-processing, Shannon and Tom had a lot of different images to pick from to use for their holiday cards and more. Here you can see many differences in the tones and tints I added to their photos. I like to make sure that every client has a bit of everything so they are sure to have many favorites and options.
What a special time in their life, now captured forever.
Christmas – that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance – a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved.– Augusta E. Rundel
Just sharing a few photos of gorgeous Lisa who works in the skincare field. She does in fact have very beautiful skin! But even more noticeable was her beautiful and bright personality. I’m sure you see it shining in these shots. I love taking corporate shots outside. One reason: It’s just more fun than being stuck in one spot in a studio, therefore it can put the subject more at ease. Number two: A cool Florida breeze becomes a natural fan for the glam hair-in-the-wind effect.

Recently I donated a photography session to a local school in Apopka. A silent auction was held with products and services from local Apopka businesses to raise money for a teacher at the school. The Acker Family made the winning bid and I finished their holiday portraits last week just in time for holiday card ordering.
These are traditional holiday portraits which remain timeless throughout the years. These kiddos were amazing in front of the camera! Although the little one did have a mini-breakdown which actually was incredibly adorable. Had to share a photo of that sweet moment between siblings. His older brother and sister were trying so hard to make him happy again. And the family does have that photo included on their CD to show him later on, many, many times.
